Hello all, we are 2-1 going into tonight's game (not that winning is most important - but it's fun to follow).
Game time tonight is 6:30. Keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately, players included.
Suzie says that she will handle snacks tonight.

Update: April 6,
HURRAH! WE won game 1, not that it's about winning, but winning is fun.
Game 2 is on Thursday at 5:30, same field. I will be there briefly, then Scott will handle the game as I have a previous obligation.
Jenna sent out a list of snack assignments. I will forward again Thursday morning.
Go Blizzard.
UPDATE: March 31, 2011
We added a practice Friday night April 1, at 5:30, same park. Hopefully, it won't be so windy. Funny how the wind didn't bother the kids.
Schedules and uniform shirts were given out on Wednesday. Players should wear their's to the first game on Tuesday, April 5, at 5:30. Players should arrive 15 minutes prior to game time to warm up and practice.
Karis' Mom, Jenna, volunteered to organize snacks and the party.
I am still looking for assistance in officiating the games and someone to handle team pictures either by contacting a company or taking them ourselves.
See you Friday or Tuesday for sure. Thanks for suffering through the tornado winds on Wednesday night.

PRACTICE Tonight at 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 (as long as the weather holds)
Great News - I have our SKY BLUE Uniform shirts to hand out. PLus, I have schedules. YEAH!
NEEDS: The Blizzard need a team parent to organize a snack schedule and organize the end of the season party, plus we need a volunteer to handle team pictures, and we need a couple of parents to help with refereeing duties at games. (training available, but not necessary) If you volunteer to officiate, Parks and Recreation will give you 50% off your next activity Sign- up.

Soccer practice for Monday, March 28, is cancelled due to a family medical issue. Plus, Maddox's Dad, Scott, is out of town on business. We will see you on Wednesday night, March 30 at 6:00 p.m.

Remember, we will need volunteers for game day snacks and for organizing the end of the season party and for figuring out team and individual photos. Everyone and anyone's help at practice is greatly appreciated. Players are encouraged to bring soccer balls from home. Any size will work.

Dear Parents,
Welcome to the Spring season of Under 8 soccer. Our team name is Pinon Valley Blizzard.
The first practice will be Wednesday, March 16 in Pinon Valley Park from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. At least one guardian of the players should plan to be present for practices and games.
